Guru has spent the last 15+ years focused on analytics, AI, and human capital. He has researched and written academic papers on AI technology and its impact on the workforce and on the topic of fairness in algorithmic and human systems. He advised business heads and CHROs at Fortune 100 companies on analytics, AI, and talent while at McKinsey & Co. Most recently, he was a senior executive at Capital One, where he built the People Analytics, Technology, and Strategy function. He recently left Capital One to found FairNow, whose mission is to help companies demonstrate that they are building/deploying AI technologies responsibly.
