Shailaja is a global Human Resources leader with significant experience in leadership and people development, wellbeing and DEIB. Having worked across Consumer Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Information Technology, Financial Services and currently as the Group Head of Learning, development and DEIB for a leading private Healthcare company; Shailaja brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that builds sustainable organizations and people.

People Sustainability is a passion for Shailaja. She truly believes that a sustainable organization needs to care for its people; through developing them, looking after their wellbeing and providing an inclusive climate.

Shailaja is a Senior Fellow at the Asia Human Capital Centre, a part of the Conference Board.
Challenging the status quo, asking provocative questions to create reflective spaces comes naturally to her. She is a thought leader, speaker and active champion, both within organizations and in society; energizing an ecosystem of like-minded individuals and agencies to create systematic solutions.

A student at heart, Shailaja was awarded a Distinction from INSEAD Singapore for her Master’s thesis on the ‘Impact of Stereotype Threat on Performance of Minority Groups in Organizations’ in 2018.

She has recently been featured on news media Channel 8, talking about Organization Wellbeing.

She lives in Singapore with her family and occasionally does stand-up comedy for fun.
