Sherri Toney is an accomplished Human Resources executive with 25+ years of experience shaping People Strategies that drive organizational success. Her experience spans from Fortune 500 companies, serving as Vice President of Human Resources at the Kellogg Company, to founding a Human Resources consulting firm that provided comprehensive Human Resources services to various client industries, ranging from Consumer Package Goods, Healthcare, Retail, Financial Services and Non-Profit. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to lead a vast array of Human Resource functions, including Employee Relations, Human Resources Business Partners, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Benefits, Leave Administration, and Recruitment.

Ms. Toney currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, heading Employee Relations and Employee Support, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas. Passionate about fostering employee engagement, she has spearheaded a transformative initiative in the implementation of mental health advocacy, employee assistance, and holistic well-being strategies at UTSW.  Her expertise includes building strong workplace cultures and resolving conflicts effectively, with a focus on promoting employee wellness and delivering employer-sponsored support designed to meet the needs of the ever-changing workforce. This includes partnering with Headspace to offer just-in-time support such as the Headspace app, coaching, EAP Services, and a multitude of additional resources to support employees.
