Current responsibilities

Simon Camaj leads two of Mercer’s essential specialty practices with over 250 colleagues focused on developing and driving solutions to help employers offer more effective and strategic LAD and Voluntary Benefits programs. His practice includes Mercer’s LAD and Voluntary Centers of Excellence, formed to improve efficiency and gain better purchasing leverage. In addition, Simon is a member of Mercer’s United States Leadership team, where he participates in and supports broader strategic business and health initiatives.

Experience

Throughout his career, Simon has developed extensive industry and product knowledge and

business-to-business and consumer insights. Simon has more than 20 years of industry experience in absence management, operations, account service delivery and distribution leadership.

Before joining Mercer, he led distribution for Aetna’s National Accounts Group insurance business, driving record results for the Absence, Disability and Life portfolio.
