Stellar leads the Technology Corporate and Investment Banking team at Truist Securities (NYSE: TFC). She is a seasoned executive with over 25+ years of deep experience in investment banking, financial services and corporate development. Stellar has executed over $45 billion of transactions in the form of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity and debt financings in the US and internationally for both corporate clients and financial sponsors.

Prior to Truist, Stellar spent 13 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., most recently as Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Business Services. She was also at UBS Securities as Managing Director and Global Head of Business Services and Foros Group, a boutique M&A advisory firm, as Managing Director and Global Head of Business Services.

Stellar was most recently, Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Development & Strategic Initiatives at HCL Technologies Ltd. (NSE: HCLTECH), where she managed a global corporate development team and SMEs across functional, horizontal and vertical businesses. Stellar also spent five years as the Chief Financial Officer of a hedge fund seeded by Julian Robertson of Tiger Management with responsibilities in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, audit and tax work.

As a mission and purpose driven leader, Stellar has actively been involved in the mentoring and development of people in the workplaces and communities around her throughout her career. She is a Senior Advisor to the Korean Finance Society and a supporter of the Korean American Family Service Center. She is a member of the Women’s Bond Club whose mission is to advance women in finance focusing on career development and education, empowering women to lead and give back to their communities. She formerly served on the board of Volunteers of America — Greater New York, an anti-poverty organization working to end homelessness while assisting people through housing, health care, and financial support programs.

Stellar earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Northwestern University and her MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She also sits on the Board of Visitors for Northwestern University’s Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences, and the Steering Committee for the KPMG | University of Chicago Annual M&A and Economic Forum.
