The Conference Board
Stephanie Guichard, PhD, is Senior Economist, Global Indicators at The Conference Board. She leads the Global Business Cycle Indicators team and is responsible for overseeing the production and release of a series of indicators, including the Consumer Confidence Index®, The Conference Board Leading Economic Index® for the United States, the Euro Area, and 11 other advanced and emerging countries, as well as the Global Leading Economic Index.
Before joining The Conference Board, Stephanie was Economic Strategy Director at Qualcomm, where she focused on the economic, social, and environmental impact of wireless technology. She also served as Senior Economist at the San Diego Association of Governments leading the development of economic models and analysis in support of regional policies. Stephanie also worked as a senior economist and economic policy adviser at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development from 2002 to 2016 as well as an economist at the International Monetary Fund, the French Treasury, and Société Générale.
Stephanie holds a PhD in economics from the University of Bordeaux (France). She has published economic research on a wide range of issues including international capital flows, labor markets, and fiscal policy issues.
