Stuart (Stu) Larson is a Senior Fellow with the Leadership Institute within the Human Capital Center at The Conference Board. He is also president of Ferron Creek, LLC, a leadership and organizational development consultancy. Stu has over 25 years of experience working in both global and domestic organizations building stronger, more resilient leaders, organizations, teams, and cultures.
Stu’s experience prior to full-time consulting and coaching included working as a Vice President of Leadership & Organizational Development and HR at Vista Outdoor, a Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness at Panera Bread, and a Global Practice Leader for Strategic People Planning and a Senior Director of Organizational Development at Monsanto Co. Stu also worked as an adjunct professor of leadership at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO.
Stu earned a master’s degree in organizational behavior from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University where he graduated with honors. He also earned a BS in organizational communication from the University of Utah. Stu currently serves on the board of directors for Bike Utah.
