Susan Carino is the Health and Welfare Manager at The Hartford, where she is responsible for strategy, plan/program design and operations for all Health and Welfare plans, including The Hartford’s award- winning well-being program. She is continually focused on ensuring that “The Buck” remains an employer of choice in the insurance industry.

With over 25 years of experience, Susan got her start at CIGNA and Prudential, administering qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. She holds a B.S. in Finance from Bryant University, an MBA from University of Hartford; is a certified Lean/Six Sigma green belt and a CEBS-compliant member of ISCEBS.

Susan has supported a broad array of total rewards while at The Hartford, which has given her the opportunity to develop benefits and well-being strategies to meet the needs of a diverse population.
