Tamara L. Lundgren is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Radius Recycling (NASDAQ: RDUS) one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of recycled metal products in North America. Before its rebranding in July 2023, Radius was known as Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc.

Under Lundgren's leadership, the Company has evolved from a regional Pacific Northwest enterprise into a leading global provider of recycled metal products and services. This achievement reflects both the significant expansion of the Company's platform and operating model and strategic investments in advanced metal recovery technologies. These efforts have positioned the Company to effectively meet the rising global demand for recycled metals, particularly in support of the worldwide shift towards low carbon technologies. The Company’s core values of Safety, Sustainability, and Integrity serve as the foundation of its culture and underpin significant recognitions, including being listed as one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies of 2023 and named as the Most Sustainable Company in the World by Corporate Knights in 2023. Lundgren joined Radius in 2005 as Chief Strategy Officer and held positions of increasing responsibility, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. She was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2008 and Chairman in 2020. Prior to joining Radius, she was an investment banker and lawyer with 25 years of experience in the U.S. and Europe, including as a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank in London and New York, and a partner in the Washington, DC law firm of Hogan & Hartson, LLP.

Lundgren is a member of the Board of Directors of Ryder System, Inc., a Trustee of The Conference Board, and immediate past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. She completed five years as a member of the President’s Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations, having been appointed by President Obama in 2016 and reappointed by President Trump in 2018. She is also a member of the Business Roundtable, the China Center Advisory Board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the President’s Advisory Council of Wellesley College.
