Tim Mathews, DSc, facilitates the US and European Security and Resilience Councils at The Conference Board, focused on executive leaders responsible for the protection and preparation of their organizations to respond to adverse, high-impact events.

Since 9/11, he has focused his efforts on advising and leading global organizations through their resilience journeys: reimagining security operations; implementing advanced access control and surveillance technologies; designing state-of-the-art operational resilience strategies; achieving independent certifications to national and global standards and effectuating successful third-party managed service agreements.

Mathews holds a doctor of science, Civil Security Leadership, Management and Policy and an MBA and undergraduate degrees in banking/commerce and computer science. He completed the rigorous ISMA/Georgetown Security Leadership program and for more than four decades has focused his leadership and energy on improving the technology, security, and resilience of organizations.
