Dr. Mathews facilitates the Conference Board’s U.S. and European councils focused on executive leaders who prepare their organizations to respond to adverse, high-impact events. Resilience and crisis leaders are responsible for a broad range of organizational resilience, preparedness, and continuity functions to ensure responsive, resilient organizations.
Since 2005, Tim has led ETS, a global $1B+ organization through its Resilience journey culminating in certification to the ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity standard and the successful response and recovery to several high-impact, adverse events. Under his leadership, ETS was honored with the prestigious Global “Continuity and Resilience Team of the Year” awarded by the Business Continuity Institute for its resilience during Super Storm Sandy.
Mr. Mathews holds a Doctor of Science in Civil Security Leadership, Management and Policy, an MBA and undergraduate degrees in Banking/Commerce and Computer Science. He completed the rigorous ISMA/Georgetown Security Leadership program and for more than four decades has focused his leadership and energy on improving the technology, security, and resilience of organizations.
