Recognized as a “Wonder Woman” by Multichannel News and as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Cable” during her tenure in that industry, Tricia Alcamo was until recently the Chief People Officer of FanDuel, America’s #1 sportsbook and leading mobile gaming operator. During a period of explosive growth in the nascent sports betting and online gaming industry, Alcamo played a vital role in helping the company grow to a market-leading size of $4.5 billion in revenue, 51% market share, and 4,500 employees. Tripling the size of her global HR team during her tenure, Alcamo’s comprehensive people strategy helped to attract and engage a diverse, high performing workforce that grew organically by 20%+ each year that she was in the organization.

Prior to joining FanDuel, Alcamo spent six years in media and telecom, as Group Vice President of Human Resources for Spectrum Enterprise, a leading national provider of fiber-based networking services. Spectrum Enterprise was formed following the 2016 merger of Charter Communications, Bright House Networks, and Time Warner Cable, with $2.4b in annual revenue and 5,500 employees.  Before coming to Spectrum, Alcamo spent 14 years honing her craft at American Express. There, she rose through the ranks of progressively senior positions, including leading an HR Business Partner team for a global business function and serving as Lead Operational Risk Officer for Global Human Resources. In this final role at AmEx, she was responsible for ensuring HR operational excellence during the critical years following the Financial Crisis, working with regulators and leadership teams across the 40 countries where the then-50,000+ employee company had operations. While at American Express, Alcamo also spent three years in a “Chief of Staff’ role for the AmEx Chief Human Resources Officer, gaining valuable insights into all aspects of the CHRO remit.

A graduate of Princeton University, Alcamo began her career at Deloitte Consulting as a Business Analyst and consultant to Fortune 100 companies in the Retail and Consumer Products industry before transitioning to an internal consulting unit focused on human capital initiatives.  She credits these early years in Deloitte’s strategy practice as giving her a solid business foundation and mindset.  An inspirational leader widely recognized for the passion and commitment she brings to all aspects of her life., Alcamo is a frequent speaker and panelist and was profiled in a feature article in HR Magazine in 2022 and more recently, on the popular Future of HR podcast in August 2024.
