Vanessa Buttignon is Global Social Responsibility Lead at John Deere. Specifically, Vanessa is responsible for leading the John Deere and the John Deere Foundation's investments related to poverty alleviation and the John Deere Foundation employee giving programs.

Since 2015, Vanessa has been also guiding and supporting John Deere units in Europe to increase CSR investments and volunteer activities to both meet John Deere’s strategic goals as well as improve the life of those in our home communities. Over the past years, Vanessa has launched CSR activities at John Deere units in Germany, France, Spain, Poland, UK, Israel, and Italy.

Vanessa joined John Deere in 2010 as Corporate Affairs trainee in Brussels. In 2008, Vanessa earned a Master’s Degree with high distinction in International Relations and International Economics from the University of Trieste, Italy. In 2007, she earned an Master’s in International Development from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, Bordeaux Business School, France. In 2006, she earned a Bachelor of Arts with high distinction in International Relations from the University of Trieste.
