Vic Buzachero is a Senior Fellow, Human Capital at The Conference Board. He is also currently President of G3 Cultures, a talent management consultancy and CHRO Emeritus of Scripps Health. Under his leadership, Scripps was recognized by AARP and Working Mother Magazine as a top employer as well as named to Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” for more than a decade. Additionally, Scripps was recognized by the National Association Female Executives as a Top Employer, Top Employer by Diversity MBA, Top Latino Employer, and among The World’s Top Companies for HR.
Vic has more than 40 years of C-suite health care system experience. He joined Scripps from Providence Health System in The Office of the CEO. Prior to his tenure at Providence, Vic served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development for Banner Health System, among others.
Vic led award winning initiatives in innovation, training and leadership development, succession planning, performance improvement/management, service excellence, and employee engagement. Franklin/Covey recognized his efforts in organizational development and effectiveness with a 1999 “Organization of Excellence” award at Banner Health. Vic is an author and frequent speaker on succession planning, great workplaces, ROI in healthcare, and labor relations. He serves as a director/chair on the boards of various corporations. Currently Vic serves on advisory boards of artificial intelligence and human capital firms.
Vic has an MBA from Samford University and a BS in business administration with a concentration in manpower and industrial relations from the University of Alabama.
