The Conference Board
Willem Overmeer is a former senior advisor at The Conference Board and the program on Scenario Building & Analysis. He worked closely with individual members of The Conference Board to identify critical trends in the corporate environment and translate these trends into scenarios that help shape entrepreneurial challenges and opportunities.
Before joining The Conference Board, Overmeer worked as a corporate planner, policy researcher, business school professor, and management consultant. He collaborated closely with senior executive teams to redesign global businesses in shifting environments in a variety of industries— telecommunications, construction and real estate development, insurance, consumer-branded products, retail, and health care.
Overmeer holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, and an MS from Delft Technical University. He has taught at MIT, INSEAD, and the Stern School of New York University.
