Dr. Yuhan Zhang is Senior Economist at The Conference Board's China Center, where he acts as the primary architect of the China Center's research agenda and leads the economic and policy analysis. In this capacity, he provides insights to C-suite and senior executives while offering thought leadership on critical issues related to China's economy and implications for business.

With over 15 years of research and professional experience in both the public and private sectors, Dr. Zhang is widely recognized for his expertise in China's economic and business landscape, political economy, and rigorous policy evaluation. Before joining The Conference Board, he was a scholar at UC Berkeley, lead economist and adviser to multinational corporations, research fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and Randle International Fellow at Columbia University.

Dr. Zhang earned his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and a master's degree from Columbia University. Over the past decade, he has been invited to lecture at leading institutions such as Cornell University, contribute to prestigious academic journals, and serve on Harvard Business Review's Advisory Council. He has published dozens of research articles and analytical commentaries in top academic journals, prominent media outlets, and influential think tanks, which have been cited in over 30 countries.
