Alan Cole is a Senior Economic Policy Analyst with the Committee for Economic Development of The Conference Board (CED). Prior to joining CED, Alan served as an economist for Tax Foundation and a senior economist for the Joint Economic Committee under Sen. Mike Lee. He also founded a subscription newsletter in economics. His research areas include fiscal policy, macroeconomics, labor markets, and regulation.

Alan holds an MBA from The Wharton School with concentrations in Finance and Business Economics and Public Policy, and a BA from Yale University in economics.
