Toni Riccardi is an independent consultant and Senior Fellow at The Conference Board. She leads the Board’s D&I New Leaders’ Academy, a program she created to train new Chief Diversity Officers. The Conference Board is a global business membership and research organization. They publish the Consumer Confidence Index®, the Leading Economic Index™, as well as other reports on economic trends and best management practices. Toni previously served as The Conference Board’s Senior Vice President of Human Resource and Chief Diversity Officer and was the content expert for The Board’s external diversity content and programs.

Before joining The Conference Board, Toni was a principal with PricewaterhouseCoopers, a global financial services firm. She was the firm’s first Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) and held a seat on the firm’s 13 member Management Committee responsible for the day to day operations in the US. In her role as CDO, Toni oversaw the firm’s national diversity and work life strategies for unlocking the benefits of workplace diversity and inclusion.

Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Toni was Director of External Affairs at Simmons School of Management in Boston. Earlier positions included Director of Campus Activities at Cornell University and Assistant Director of the Student Center at Northwestern University.

Toni received a Masters of Business Administration from the Simmons School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Art from Missouri State University.

She was a contributing author to the book, Enlightened Power: How Women Are Transforming the Practice of Leadership, Jossey-Bass, 2005.

Toni currently sits on the boards of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) and Women of ALPFA (founder). She previously sat on the Board of the Girl Scouts of Greater New York, Life Through Dance, the advisory board for the College of Arts and Sciences at Missouri State University, the Goodman Theatre, the Jeanette Coles Diversity Institute at Bennett College, and Chicago Arts Partnership in Education.
