The China Government Affairs (GA) Council is a unique learning and development platform for senior-most GA professionals. The primary focus of the Council is 1) Improve understanding of the key forces shaping the policy environment and regulatory behavior in China; 2) Identify emergent GA risks and opportunities; and 3) Validate assumptions on GA imperatives and approaches methods with experts and peers. Improved situational understanding, and the collective assessment of key political-economy developments and planning assumptions, enables superior job performance and business results.
Members must be the senior-most executive responsible for government affairs/corporate affairs for a company with business in China or Hong Kong. Executives may be based in China, Hong Kong, or other Pacific Rim cities or at corporate headquarters.

The Council is a very high-quality intellectual platform that provides great timely services, updates, and analysis; a platform to have active and diverse exchanges of views, and a sphere to broaden and deepen knowledge beyond one’s own industry that we might otherwise neglect.
