ESG Center Briefings

Background

ESG factors are increasingly entering the M&A landscape in both dealmaking and activism: 82 percent of dealmakers say they are taking ESG into consideration in their M&A agenda, and antitrust regulators are increasingly considering the social impacts of M&As. Mike Verrechia, Managing Director, Co-Head of the M&A and Activism Advisory Group at Morrow Sodali, will be joining us to discuss 1) the overall M&A environment; and 2) how ESG factors into M&A decision-making at the management, board, and shareholder levels.

Description

Participating in a Center Briefing is an exclusive benefit for our ESG, and Economy, Strategy, & Finance (ESF) Center Members, and there is no fee associated with this program. As with our other Working Groups and Roundtable discussions, this session is held under the Chatham House Rule to provide a forum for a truly candid and constructive conversation.
