Background
Companies are increasing their attention to (1) the ever- evolving list of ESG issues and (2) serving the long-term welfare of a broad range of stakeholders. These shifts have very practical implications for corporate boards, which have left some feeling overexposed and underprepared. The fourth and final session on November 15th addressed how boards can effectively evaluate the company's and senior management's ESG performance and relationships with stakeholders, as well as how boards can evaluate their own performance in this era of ESG and stakeholder capitalism.
