Background

Companies are increasing their attention to (1) the ever- evolving list of ESG issues and (2) serving the long-term welfare of a broad range of stakeholders. These shifts have very practical implications for corporate boards, which have left some feeling overexposed and underprepared. This third session of this working group will focus on effectively communicating to the board about ESG issues and stakeholder expectations and views, as well as the board’s role in approving communications on ESG issues and engaging with stakeholders.
