The series of challenges that companies have had to address over the past couple of years - COVID-19, social justice, the Russia-Ukraine war, supply chain shortages, inflation, bank defaults, attracting and retaining talent, and more - have made corporate communications teams ramp up their crisis response capabilities. As we look ahead at the election season, AI risks, extreme weather, and mounting US-China tensions, how ready are companies for these challenges?

We invite all members of the Marketing & Communications Center to join our roundtable to discuss the following topics:

  • “Crisis seismograph”: How do you monitor for potential crises on the horizon?
  • Emerging issues: Where do the election season and ESG/DEI backlash rank?
  • Trends: Are there certain crisis types that have taken more of your attention in the past year?
  • Organizational aspects of crisis communications: What organizational changes and skills upgrades are you planning to make to prepare for the future?
  • Measuring crisis impact: What metrics are you and your CEO most interested in measuring?

This interactive online roundtable is for senior professionals in communications, marketing, and strategy, as well as those in related positions. We will have a few lead speakers to kick off the conversation and invite all participants to share their perspectives, experiences, and questions regarding the topics discussed. This event will be held under the Chatham House Rule, i.e., participants may use and share the learnings but may not attribute what was said to individuals or companies.
