Deep Dive Exchange Series: Managing Information Security Risks in China

On January 29, 2015, in Shanghai, The Conference Board China Center hosted its fourth Deep Dive Exchange: Managing Information Security Risks in China.

Over the past year, anti-monopoly and other investigations of foreign businesses in China, many involving confiscated corporate IT equipment, have exacerbated an already challenging competitive and cybersecurity environment – both in China and globally. This has made information security (infosec) management even more complex for foreign businesses operating in China.

Infosec expert, Dr. Meng Chow Kang (PhD, CISSP), director, information security, Cisco Systems, served as keynote speaker. This publication synthesizes the day’s discussion and provides key insights and a summary of polling exercise results. Full results, along with a soft copy of Kang’s keynote presentation, can be found on the China Center member’s only website.
