I’m delighted to announce the release of Corporate Communications Practices: 2019 Edition, the Marketing and Communications Center’s latest benchmarking report that looks closely at the configuration of corporate communications teams and their work over the past year. The report is available to download here.
Our researchers surveyed nearly 150 companies and found, among other things, that the challenges keeping communications executives up at night include budgetary constraints, organizational changes, internal collaboration issues, and disaster responses. That final point is particularly salient. As we approach the fall hurricane season, companies’ efforts to help communities prepare for disasters are sharply coming into focus. It details the results of a survey and discussions from our Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy Institute councils.
