Economy, Strategy & Finance Center Newsletter (Europe) - August 2019

Welcome to your monthly newsletter from The Conference Board European Economy, Strategy & Finance (ESF) Center of Europe.

China’s growth slowdown continues. It's exports have been hit by US tariffs and weaker global demand. In China's domestic economy, job creation and income growth are both expected to decline further in the second half of 2019.

Our recent analysis warns that these conditions in China are likely to remain for the next several months. Significant new stimulus by the government is only likely if the risk of a sharp slowdown increases.

We look forward to providing you with timely insights into the key issues of our day. Up-to-date information on topics of interest are always available on our dedicated ESF webpage.
