Education Priorities Across States

Throughout the first few months of 2023, governors across the US outlined priorities in state of the state, commonwealth, or budget addresses. As labor shortages persist across the country and the nation continues to grapple with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on student learning and outcomes, many governors addressed education and child development as high-priority issues.
