Hispanics in the Workplace: Building Meaningful Diversity

American companies see the long-term benefits of diversifying their workforce to keep pace with increases in the Hispanic population. It is not enough to hire Latino talent; if co-workers and managers treat them with disrespect or insensitivity, they’re not going to stay

This report highlights steps that larger companies are taking to invest in their future workforce. Smaller companies can learn from the experiences and initiatives of larger companies, including:

  •  integrating diversity education into all leadership programs;
  • creating a diverse pipeline of talent;
  • creating opportunities to hear from employees; and
  • networking and supporting employee networks.
