A Business Guide to Support Employee and Family Involvement in Education

This guidebook provides business leaders and their education and community partners with information and guidance about policies and practices that can be used to promote employee and family involvement in education, address students’ needs, and support education initiatives with communities. The guidebook is broken into three sections: establishing the context for employee and family involvement in education, four steps to achieve results, and determining future directions. Throughout, it includes examples from organizations such as Eastman Kodak Company, Hewlett-Packard, Marriott International, GTE Corporation, IBM, United Airlines, and the U.S. Army. (44 pages)
