Global Economy Center Newsletter - November 2018
  • Publication Date:
    November 2018

When it comes to the global economy, expect a gradual economic slowdown, not a dramatic downturn.

Recently, the perception of rising risks in the global business environment and in financial markets has gained ground. While caution is warranted, the Economics team at The Conference Board does not think this is the beginning of a downturn. The global economy has plateaued but shows no sign of falling off the cliff. Assuming no major disruption, a gradual global growth slowdown in 2019 seems most likely.

In this month's newsletter we provide some insights and resources from the Global Economic Outlook, released on November 13th.
