I’m delighted to announce the release of Corporate Communications Practices: 2019 Edition, the Marketing and Communications Center’s latest benchmarking report that looks closely at the configuration of corporate communications teams and their work over the past year. The report is available to download here.
Our researchers surveyed nearly 150 companies and found, among other things, that the challenges keeping communications executives up at night include budgetary constraints, organizational changes, internal collaboration issues, and disaster responses. That final point is particularly salient. As we approach the fall hurricane season, companies’ efforts to help communities prepare for disasters are sharply coming into focus. If you’re interested to know more about this, you can also download Disaster Philanthropy Practices, a new report from The Conference Board ESG Center. It details the results of a survey and discussions from our Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy Institute councils.
For those interested in hearing more about the winner of our Excellence in Marketing and Communications Awards, I’m happy to share with you the winning case studies from the Agile Marketing category: Refinitiv and MediaRadar. I look forward to sharing more of them with you in coming months.
