Nurturing Employee Mental Well-Being: A Road Map for Progress

May 16, 2022 | Report

The COVID-19 crisis and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine have catapulted mental health and well-being in the workplace to a top place in the list of concerns companies have had to confront. Business leaders recognise that supporting the mental well-being of their workers extends far beyond reducing financial and business risk. It is now an ethical and strategic imperative for attracting and engaging talent and for building a healthy and sustainable business. Workers increasingly expect their employers to support their emotional and psychological well-being. Societal pressure is also building for business to take a leading role in breaking down the stigma of mental health, and to position worker well-being at the core of acting as a socially responsible business.
