Engaging Employees on Sustainability

As companies are embedding sustainability in their business and culture, it’s critical to ensure your employees not only understand the company’s sustainability goals, but feel a sense of ownership, accountability, and empowerment to achieve them.

In 2022, The Conference Board convened a Working Group that brought together over 300 executives from 130 companies (over the course of eight months) to share their real-world experiences in integrating sustainability into their firms’ cultural DNA. That followed a Working Group in 2021, with 300 executives from 150 organizations who discussed their experience communicating their sustainability story authentically, reliably, and effectively to multiple stakeholders, including employees.

Join this webcast to learn about:

  • How to ensure your employees understand the company’s key sustainability goals and the business case for achieving them.
  • Ways to help employees connect their role in achieving the firm’s objectives and “upskilling” them to ensure they have the knowledge and capabilities to pursue them.
