This monthly webcast provides the latest insights from TCB’s Economics Team for the Euro Zone as well as the outlook for several of the larger European economies.
As a special topic, this month’s Economic Watch, takes a long term perspective on the growth performance of Europe, taking a deep-dive in the specific characteristics of the growth model of four distinct groups of countries in Europe: “The Integrated Value Chain” (Germany and Central Eastern European countries), “The Global Niche Players” (Baltic and Nordic countries, the Benelux and Ireland), “The Deindustrialization Model” (United Kingdom) and the “Inward Looking Economies” (the Mediterranean economies). Looking at both supply and demand side data, we discuss the implications of this grouping from a business perspective.
