The Conference Board
Fiona Liu is an Economist at The Conference Board China Center for Economics and Business. Fiona is responsible for providing analysis and insights into China's economy and business environment, with a particular focus on China’s consumption and labor market research.
Fiona has experience in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining The Conference Board, Fiona worked as a consultant at the Asia Development Bank and an economic analyst at Teck Resources based in Beijing where she covered research on a range of topics, including China’s long-term potential growth prospects; China’s demographic challenges; and China’s regional development.
Fiona’s current research interests include key drivers of China’s long-term growth, economic and business implications of China’s labor force development, and the evolving of consumption patterns of Chinese consumers. Fiona holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Waterloo, Canada, and a bachelor's degree of economics from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
