An American, Matt Biespiel led award-winning marketing campaigns for three decades on the brand, agency, and property sides of the business.
He got his start at two of the world’s most prestigious creative agencies: Ogilvy & Mather and Y&R. For nearly a decade, he led advertising for Visa’s US company, overseeing one of the longest-running, most effective campaigns in American marketing history: Visa. It’s everywhere you want to be. At the turn of the century, Matt pivoted to US Olympic Committee heading into the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, where he was head of brand development. His work capped off with designing the best-selling line of merchandise in Olympic history. His last corporate role was at McDonald's, where he looked after global brand strategy and development, stewarding the global “i’m lovin’ it” campaign across 120 countries. His leadership resulted in a decade of growth, becoming the World’s Most Effective Advertised Brand for two consecutive years and the Cannes Lions Marketer of the Year.
Matt is currently advising growth-stage companies on brand strategy and go-to-market plans. A father of two teenagers, he’s a decent golfer, an avid yoga practitioner, and a born-again snow skier.
