Mike Archbold

Mike Archbold is a Program Director at The Conference Board. In addition, he is the CEO of The Council for Inclusive Capitalism at the Vatican, and Former CEO, GNC Holdings, Inc.

Mike is a proven leader with significant retail experience. He is the winner of the 2017 Efforts on Behalf of the Industry award by Nutrition Business Journal. His 30+ years of experience includes strategic, operational and financial leadership across several national retailers. He has served in multiple capacities including CFO, CAO and CEO. Significant accomplishments include taking a company public (Vitamin Shoppe), taking a company private and leading a turnaround (Talbots) and strategic and cultural transformation (GNC).

Mike also has served on several public company boards as well as serving as a Trustee for the Committee for Economic Development of The Conference Board.
