Miriam Cohen is Senior Fellow, Human Capital at The Conference Board and steering committee member of the Federal Government Forum. She has specialized expertise in building and leading top-performing teams, steering innovative business process improvements, and building coalitions to achieve results.
She is the owner of FEDPEEPS, which provides human capital advisory services to federal agency clients, and is a Strategic Advisor to Government Executives at the Partnership for Public Service. Previously, Miriam served as VP of Federal Human Resources at ICF and was the CHRO and Deputy CHRO at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). At the NRC, she was responsible for all human capital programs and was a major contributor to agency transformation and innovation initiatives. Prior to the NRC, she served as the Director of Administration for the Bureau of Industry and security in the U.S. Department of Commerce where she led all human resources, information technology, and financial management activities.
Miriam received a bachelor’s in political science and a master’s in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh. She was also the recipient of the Presidential Rank award in 2009.
