Patrick Arlequeeuw is council director for the CIO Business and Transformation Council and formerly of the Digital Transformation Council at The Conference Board. Arlequeeuw also works as an independent business consultant and coach to help companies with ICT (digitization) and shared services strategies/solutions, partnerships/sourcing approaches, and total change programs.
Prior to forming his own consultancy, he had a 30-year career with Procter & Gamble, which included serving as vice-president ICT and shared services. He also co-founded P&G’s Global Business Services (GBS) in 1999, which involved developing the strategic choices, service/pricing catalogue, organization design, and the business transformation model and then implementing the full GBS scope in Latin America before launching the ICT services globally.
While at Proctor & Gamble, he also held several CIO roles in countries, regions, and global functional areas, where he acquired broad experience with all aspects of ICT and change management. In addition, he was a member of several executive leadership teams across different cultures and was responsible for the ICT/process transformation program for the “Europeanization and globalization” of the company. Arlequeeuw has also served as an ICT project manager for Securex and Monsanto.
