Seth Arenstein is a contributing writer for the Marketing & Communications Center of The Conference Board. He is a former Editor of PRNEWS and Crisis Insider. During his three decades in journalism, he was Assistant Vice President and Editorial Director at CableFAX Daily and White House Bureau Chief for Defense Daily. 

Seth graduated from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of The Johns Hopkins University with a master’s degree in security studies and international economics. He graduated magna cum laude and was named to Phi Beta Kappa as undergraduate at Brandeis University. 

Seth is co-principal trumpet of the Washington Conservatory of Music orchestra and is a member of the Washington, DC, chapter of the National Society of Arts and Letters, a nonprofit that offers scholarships and other funding for high school, college, and postgraduate performing artists.
