Teresa Lin

Teresa has extensive experience in banking and financial sector in the region. She is a veteran commercial and corporate banker with expertise on strategic planning, supply chain financing, vehicle/equipment leasing and banking with large, small and medium enterprises. 

In her banking career in DBS Bank, she was Group Head, Institutional Banking Group; Vice Chairman and CEO DBS (China) Ltd contributing to the bank’s infrastructure into China. Prior to DBS Bank, she held various senior and directorship positions at financial institutions including Citibank, Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Dah Sing Bank and as Chairman of Hong Kong Equipment Leasing Association. She is Honorary Advisor to The Hong Kong institute of Bankers for 10 years and formerly acted as Senior Advisor, McKinsey & Co. On Hong Kong SAR Government appointments, she was Vice Chairman of the Banking Industry Training Advisory Committee, Qualification Framework of Education Bureau contributing a framework on career pathway. She served as former member of the Small & Medium Enterprises Committee of Hong Kong Government’s Industry & Trade Bureau.

In philanthropy, Teresa managed We R Family Foundation Ltd which provides academic support and positive value education daily to children of underprivileged families.  Her work in women and girls through Zonta covers years of hard work in her own club, area and districts.  To Teresa it is a privilege in career life to groom stronger corporations and to nurture professional talents. Through Zonta International, she is dedicated to build a better world for women and girls.
