Frank Steemers is a Senior Economist at The Conference Board where he analyzes labor markets in the US and other mature economies. Based in New York, he conducts statistical, predictive, and descriptive analyses and contributes to labor market whitepapers, blogs, webcasts, and media engagements.

He is one of the lead researchers of The Conference Board's wage, population, and labor shortages models. Steemers contributed to several key projects, including the report US Labor Shortages: Challenges and Solutions. 

Steemers received dual MA and MSc degrees with distinction in International and Development Economics from the Universities of Groningen (The Netherlands) and Göttingen (Germany).
