Malala Lin is an Economic Research Associate with the Economy, Strategy, & Finance Center (ESF) at The Conference Board. She manages a portfolio of business cycle indicators including Brazil, South Korea, Mexico, and global economies. Malala also contributes to the production of the Consumer Confidence Index® and provides analytical support for several ad hoc projects including the yearly Job Satisfaction report.
Prior to joining ESF, Malala held research positions with the Human Capital Center when she joined The Conference Board in 2022. With the HC Center, she led the survey analysis process. Before joining the organization, Malala worked in the public and nonprofit sectors. She holds a BA degree in political science and an MS degree in economic analysis.
