Rob Shimp is the President of TightLine Answers LLC, and Program Director for The Conference Board Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) Council since January, 2013. Previously, Rob worked for the Procter & Gamble Company for 28 years in the company's "Global Product Stewardship" organization, which is accountable for the safety, regulatory, environmental, sustainability, and technical communications aspects of the company’s 300 brands. 

During his P&G career, he led a wide variety of internal and external programs, including the development of ISO standards for LCA and environmental labeling, chemicals management policies and legislation (e.g., TSCA, EU REACH, and the OECD's chemical programs), product risk assessment, scenario analysis facilitation, issue/crisis management capabilities, and organization design.  He also helped the company develop programs on sustainability goals, metrics and reporting.  Rob has a PhD in Environmental Science & Engineering from the University of North Carolina and is the author or co-author of over 30 publications.
