The Conference Board

Markus Schomer is a Senior Economist with The Conference Board. Prior to joining The Conference Board, Mr Schomer worked at economist and investment strategist at financial services firms PineBridge Investments, AIG, and Commerzbank in New York, London, and Frankfurt.

Mr Schomer holds master's degrees in economics from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, and the University of Bonn in Germany.
