CEO Insight Minute: What Is the 10-Year Outlook for the Global Economy?

Global economic growth is set to slow going forward compared to the prepandemic rate.

Global growth is expected to slow over the next decade relative to the prior one. While the contributions from labor quality and quantity are projected to shrink materially, capital deepening and faster productivity growth should continue to support expansion. Risks to the global economic outlook remain tilted somewhat to the downside, and gray swans are numerous. Amid elevated uncertainty, C-suite executives should focus on contingencies, strengthening internal operations, improving external communications, and long-term growth.
