The following is a bio of a former employee/consultant

Selcuk Eren, PhD, is a Senior Economist at The Conference Board. He is an experienced researcher in labor economics with a focus on demographics, immigration, health, housing, education, and public policy.

Before joining The Conference Board, Selcuk was a Senior Economist at the New York City Comptroller’s Office. In that role, he conducted research on New York City’s economic outlook and evaluated fiscal and economic impacts of policy and fiscal changes on tax revenues and expenditures.

Selcuk has been an adjunct faculty member in the Environmental Science and Policy Program at Columbia University, teaching quantitative techniques and microeconomics. He received his BA from Istanbul Bilgi University and his MA and PhD from Stony Brook University.
