Strategic Imperatives

China faces many difficult trade-offs and tension points, and many uncertainties on economics, policies and politics remain. China keeps kicking much needed climate actions further down the road. But a "squeeze" might eventually come to deliver the 2030/60 targets. Early movers and long-term planners are better positioned for that end game. Companies should align to policy priorities, and refresh China value proposition with new strategic imperatives.
