Institutional Investment Report - March 2003

The Institutional Investment Report, formerly "The Brancato Report," is the primary institutional investor database in the field of corporate governance. This issue, "Financial Assets and Equity Holdings: Patterns of institutional investment and control":

  • Provides a breakdown of total institutional investor assets, and tracts asset growth for all institutional investors and specific institutions.
  • Shows how institutional investors allocate their assets among equities, bonds, and other investment types.
  • Describes institutional investor assets held in the U.S. equity markets for all institutions.
  • Estimates to what extent institutions delegate asset management to other fiduciaries.
