Journal of New Communications Research Vol 2 Issue 1 Spring\Summer 2007

This issue of the JNCR features six papers by academics and professionals covering a wide range of topics, including: the effects of social media on the profession of public relations and the impact of the internet on social capital in the United States, as well as an examination of the health care blogosphere. We are also pleased to feature research papers on the adoption of social media by the Inc. 500, coauthored by SNCR Senior Fellow Nora Ganim Barnes and Eric Mattson and an exploration of the effects of new media on traditional media by SNCR Vendor Council member Benjamin Levy.

This report was originally published by the Society for New Communications Research, which officially merged with The Conference Board in January 2016.
