US View: A strong start to 2021 boosts prospect of even stronger economic recovery

Following a strong first quarter, The Conference Board forecasts that US Real GDP growth will rise to 8.6 percent (annualized rate) in Q2 2021 and 6.4 percent (year-over-year) for the full year. Looking further ahead, we expect annual GDP growth of 3.7 percent (year-over-year) in 2022 and 2.9 percent (year-over-year) in 2023.
